Giving to others is a blessing to yourself too-but are you going to do anything special or different for yourself this year?

I'm finally gonna assassinate my arch enemy..."hugh hefner" so that I can steal his life.....mwahahahaha hahaha hahaha.....and stuff...

On the brighter side of  life..... I'm refinishing my boat and since I can't afford anything after that, then I'll have to gladly accept that as a gift to myself....

Damn the "Hef".....

I am going clothes shopping for western wear for the first time in years.  Getting back to my roots for sure.  I plan on getting at least 2 more pairs of Wranglers, a new pair of Ariat cowboy boots, a new belt, and a few shirts (I am still a little big in the belly for most wetern shirts sadly).  Be sure that pictures will be coming.

I'm looking forward to looking forward to clothes shopping (does that make sense???)  I've just bought the bare minimum as I lost, and now I'm filling in as the weather cools down because nothing fit from last year...for which I'm grateful, but I just can't let down and go buy 10 shirts or something like that as I fantasized about.  It's the fear of "what if they don't fit, or what if I gain...."...so I AM wearing my proper size, but still haven't really expanded the old ward robe.

I was planning on going home to North Carolina for the season. But after having my siblings argue about where I am going to be...I think I might just stay here and go blah humbug

Well, I was just informed that Mom would be cooking her own Christmas dinner cause she didn't like all that "catered food" (honeybaked ham, etc...) and I could do what I wanted....so BAH HUMBUG.  Fortunately, no one else minded-they munched their way through a whole lot of "storebought" food.

No one appreciates me....boo hooo hoooooo.

Gee honeybaked ham and no kitchen to clean up sounds heavenly to me...did you mention pecan pie or was I just dreaming.....

Oh Deb, my brother called me tonight asking me if I would make him some of our Mom's homemade fudge....his list included peanut butter chocolate with pecans and rocky road....Like sure I just had two surgeries 4 weeks ago and I am just dying to stir up fudge over a hot stove for 10 minutes a batch...
