Got a Date!

January 12th is my big day to become the good kind of loser!    I have my first appointment next week with the cardiologist.  I think that's the one I'm worried about the most.  Either I won't be able to make it on the treadmill OR I'll get a Charlie Horse/shin splits hurting/or something and not be able to push through the pain.  Now I just need to figure out how to put my surgery date under my picture. 

I want to thank all of you guys for being there and supporting me through this, thanks to all who have gone before and who are gracious enough to share their experiences.  I've become almost addicted to this site and I don't always post but I wanted to thank you all!

Congrats on the date!!!  You are going to have an awesome 2009!!!  What a way to begin a new year.  I wouldn't worry about the treadmill test.  If it's too worrisome then ask for the chemical stress test.  That's what they did for me.  I KNEW I'd never make the regular stress test.  Neither is pleasant but necessary.  Good luck!!

 Congrats WOOHOO.  What cardiologist are you going to visit?  

I can't remember what his name is, I know he's on like Wheeling in Tulsa in the Williams building. That appointment is Tuesday. The pulmonoligist is Dr. Britt.  Do you know when they'll do the ultrasound for my gall bladder and the bone scan?  Is that Dr. Kirk?  I'm still not sure about the dinner next Wednesday, it's my birthday so I don't know if Sam has something planned for the family or not.  BTW Olive Garden opens in Owasso on December 8th :)

Kat:  Congrats on your date, and welcome to your new life.  To put your surgery date under your avatar, click on "My Account" at the very top of the page (next to Sign in/Sign out); this will take you to a Surgery Related page; in the middle column is "I've Got a Date" -- click on it; enter your surgery date and type of surgery -- you don't have to enter all the stuff under that; click on Save My Work at the bottom.  Michael
