OT - Check out the moon

Sky Show Tonight: Jupiter, Venus, Moon

Look at the moon. The 2 "bright stars" are Jupiter and Venus. This is supposed to happen like every 40 years so this may be the only time some of us will see this.

Went out a few minutes ago, with wet hair, nightgown, slippers, and jacket. It was beautiful! Thanks for bringing it to my attention. :)

Typical, a once in a lifetime event in the sky, and it's cloudy where I am. Arg

Jupiter and Venus will still be in the sky for the next few nights. Its truly beautiful.

I saw that on my way home from work tonight.  It was very cool - I didn't know what they were there under the moon... thanks for the info.   I'll get my kids out to see it tomorrow.

We didn't know what we were seeing last night, but knew it was beautiful.  It will be even more so tonight now that we know what we're looking at.
