(This is a bit off topic, but I wanted to try to spread a bit of fun into your day...)
Well gang my fun adventures never seem to end.... so yesterday I'm at a local restaurant that is right off the beach, where mainly locals go to hangout/eat/drink , trying to enjoy a nice hamburger patty with mango chutney and jerk seasonings when my prank goes haywire....
You see....there is this girl who works there that decided to treat a buddy of mine like he wasn't worth serving one day because they didn't work out (as a couple). well to make a long stoy short.... I ruined it for lots of people....(for at least yesterday....)
I know she hates the song "kokomo" by the beachboys....and well I was forced, by an unknown power, to insert my $5 dollars (25 plays) into the jukebox...and I think that it got to the seventh time of playing it and I could see her fuming....
My buddy and I wanted to hear all of the 25 plays that I paid for while playin some pool when all of a sudden....the manager SUDDENLY decided that he is no longer a fan of the song and disconnects the innocent jukebox from the wall (with predjudice)..
... Sooooo I ruined it for everyone that night.... no Kenny Chesney, no Luther Vandross, no Dave Matthews, no Jimmy Buffett, no sweet home alabama all summer long....just silence....
But hey, I figured out that today is a new day and if "kokomo" is still there, I will attempt to make it the number one played song once more.... and if they've removed it, I know they still have two other songs that she's not fond of......"baby come back" from the band 10cc and another song called "in the year of the cat"....lmao, too much fun..... popularity has it's limits apparently.... wink, wink...

LOL -- I can imagine how annoying that must have been though. Kinda like the Christmas music that has been playing continuously on the radio since shortly after Halloween. I love christmas music -- that is until they decided to overdo it and start playing it so early. There are only so many times you can listen to the same songs over and over again!
