OMG WOW MOMENT!!!!

I now wear a size 16 misses jean!!!

I went shopping with my granny for christmas this weekend, and when we went to the mall, I instantly headed for the plus size section in JC Penney. She stopped me in my tracks and took me over to the misses section, and just started pulling jeans off the rack, with just numbers on the tag, no letters. She wouldn't even let me see what sizes she was pulling. I was thinking 18 or 20, and when I tried on what she had brought me, I actually looked at the tag...and it said 16!!! These are misses St. John's Bay jeans...I don't think I've ever been in this size, I skipped straight from juniors to plus size...


So needless to say, I'm super excited...we found two pairs of jeans. Then we went to Charlotte Russe, in Quail Springs, and I can wear their stuff...They are the kind of store that my brother's girlfriend shops in, and she weighs about 110 pounds soaking wet. I was so excited, I found bunches of cute tops and I'm in their large size...I'm so excited!!

Congrats Michelle, that is wonderful. I know u were doing the happy dance at the mall...cuz I know I sure would have been. Just hearing your story is very inspiring. I know my day is coming, its coming. Enjoy your new jeans and new size...u go gurl....rock them jeans!

It is still hard for me to pull a smaller size off the rack (so I shop online a lot).

You are looking so fabulous and I am excited for you!!  I still have all those size 0 (14/16) shirts in my closet and even though I thought I would never be able to wear them, you were right and I was wrong!  Those will be fitting me in another month or so and will be nice and roomy by early spring!  Yea!!

Whoo Hoo I cant wait to join you do that happy dance all you want it will just mean next you will be in a size 14 LOL so DANCE GIRL DANCE!!

there isn't much that can compete with the way you feel after you've become empowered by your little tummy...  I told you the first time that I saw you that you were already beautiful.....  but you just thought I was womanizing....  see...  sometimes I just want to let people know that the new version of them has always been there.....beaten and broken by an image of being big....   to see someone come to realize their potential and being able to watch them emerge from that old person is like magic....

But just remember....tomorrow you're even gettin better.....  don't let it go to your head.... stay hopelessly wonderful.....

Ed is right, wait until you take those jeans out of the dryer and think they must have shrunk big time and won't fit- but they do!
