Upper Leg Weakness?

Just wondering if anyone else has this problem?  I don't know what has happened, I think maybe I have lost a lot of muscle in my upper legs.  If I sit for an extended period of time, like in the car for 20 min. or more I can hardly walk when I get out.  I feel real weak in the upper legs, it is in the very upper leg like where my legs attache to my torso.  I am still exercising everyday, walking on the treadmill, and it doesn't seem to bother me, it is only when I have been sitting for a time.  Has anyone else had this problem? Lisa

Could you be feeling more strain due to less padding?

I have no idea Debra, I was hoping that someone would be able to tell me something.  Lisa

The same thing happens to me sometimes.  I think Deb is spot on that it is your legs adjusting to not having as much padding.  I notice now my legs go numb quicker from sitting around (specially if I am sitting with one leg folded up under me or something).  Also something funny is my legs know when it's time for my B-12 shot.  My calves will start to tingle.

When I get upper leg weakness my TSH levels are off.  Mention it to your doctor on your next visit see if its something he can check for you.

I get the tingling in my legs and arms when my B12 is off also.
