Oklahoma state teachers insurance

I am asking this question for my mom so I can't remember the name of the insurance but I do know this past summer while at the seminar someone asked and the teachers insurance did not pay for the surgery.  Since then I have heard someplace and can't remember where that they might add that to the new years insurance.  Does anyone know if this is true or have any of you heard any updates on this issue?  I would appreciate any update you guys might have.  My mom is really needing this and can't afford to pay for it.

The State teachers insurance plans do not pay for them as far as I know. 
Would be nice to hear that they are going to do that though.  Let me know if you hear anyting about them.  I'm planning on having it done and sure would be nice to have them pay for it .

As of July 08 they flatly refuse to pay for ANY WLS. Not one cent. This pretty much goes along with their overall lousy coverage...in my opinion...high co-pays...etc. I am assuming you are talking about Healthchoice here. Good luck! I was a cash pay patient.
