I got approved!
Oh my gosh! What a wonderful Thanksgiving present! Brandi just called from Weight Wise and they got my insurance approval! I am so relieved and thankful. I was positive it was going to happen, but was worried also.
I hope you all have a safe and Happy Thanksgiving. I'm off to the country estate (aka my mother's house) LOL until tomorrow night.

Hey Guys! Thanks for all of your encouragment. I'm pretty excited! So excited that Thanksgiving lunch was not difficult for me to get through today at all! We intentionally stayed at my mother's instead of going to my sister's house where all the cool desserts and stuff would be....then my other sister and I ended up cooking for my brother and his family...which was way cool since we haven't had Thanksgiving at Mama's in quite a few years. She loved it, as did all of us. I had no dressing, no potatoes, nothing like that. I even made myself a sugar-free, crustless pumpkin pie since I can't have the carbs. It was really good, but I didn't over-indulge, that was the really cool part.
I am scheduled for December 22 with my pre-op visit on December 11. I'm so ready to get it done. Jennifer, my niece, had RNY on September 15, and when she weighed last week, she had lost 95 lbs. 50 of that was pre-surgery, but she look amazing! And not only that, she's actually happy again, and up and going like crazy. I love that fact.
