I'm alive! I think...

Wow! I had no idea that anyone would even notice I was gone. I have been sick for over 3 weeks now. It started out as a bad cold and went into my chest. I think I have slept for the entire time....well sleep, cough, sleep and cough! The doc called it walking pneumonia. I could barely get out of bed to do anything, then my daughter from Texas took me down to her house. We just got in late last night.  I am on my 3rd round of antibiotic now and I think I might live. Kim I'm sorry for not calling back, but I left my cell phone here and haven't even checked any of my messages on either phone yet......I don't get many calls, so I just left everything and went away to rest. I don't know when I have felt this sick before!
Thank you for all your concern. I promise not to not check in next time....I did miss everyone on the boards. It looks like I have alot to catch up on.
Anyway, I am back and though I was so sick...the good news is I lost 5 lbs during the 3 weeks. I have lost what I needed to lose plus some. So I am ready to see about a date for my surgery! I go to see the Nurse on the 8th of Dec and should get a date by then. I just have to maintain during the Holidays.
I hope all of you who have had your surgery while I was sick, are all doing well and are adjusting to your new lives! I am so excited for each of you! I will be right with you soon.
I am going to get started catching up on these posts!
Thanks again for the concerns you had for my absence! I honestly didn't think it would even be noticed. It just goes to show you how much we have grown to care about each other! Thank you for that!

Well, I was all ready to  fuss at you, but then I read your post. I'm so sorry you were so ill, but am so relieved that you are better. Please know that you ARE missed, when we don't hear from you. We are like family, and we want to know how everyone is doing:  the good, the bad, and the ugly.
I have been praying for you. I just didn't know quite how to pray. I finally gave you over to the Holy Spirit, to lift you up and bring your concerns to the Throne Room.
Thank you for posting. Congratulations on exceeding your goal weight. I know you will be careful through the holiday, so you can get a date soon.
Blessings,
Mary

The walking pneumonia will grab hold and hang on, but really glad that you are finally on the downhill slide of this.  Yes, you were very noticeably missed, and glad to see you are back with us.  Have a great Thanksgiving, but don't do too much too soon.  Michael.

Thanks for posting.  Yes you were very missed.  I would have driven by your house but didn't know quite where it was.  It's a good thing I didn't because I probably would have been more worried.  I'm glad you're feeling better now. ; Take care and have a wonderful Thanksgiving.  We're getting you place all prettied up on the "looser's bench"!!

This is the ride of my life.....what an amazing tool I now have!!!
