I'm scheduled for surgery!

Finally!  I feel like I have been on this journey forever!  I have been since April, actually.  I had to make the 6 visits and the last one was on November 9.  I haven't heard from my insurance yet, but I'm scheduled for RNY on December 22.  It's also my 41st birthday!  Best birthday I could think to give myself!  Right now I'm on very restricted diet, and the weight is coming off nicely.  I was stupid and gained instead of losing early, so now it's a mad rush to get it off.  So far I've lost about 10 in two weeks, and have 14 more to go.  Woohoo!!!

Good for you Marsha.  You're giving yourself an awesome Christmas gift.  You're not the only one who ever put off weight loss...until the last.  You'll do it.  You have a month left.  Good job girlfriend....Wooohooohoooo.

I rejoice with you, on your good news of a surgery date. You'll get those final 14 lbs. off, I'm sure. High protein, lots of water, and exercise. :)
Dec. 22 will be here before you know it, and what a wonderful birthday/Christmas present!

Congratulations.

Jumping through insurance hoops is never fun, but when you finally get that letter, it sinks in and the relief of almost being there is exhilirating.

Good job on being persistent.
