Lemme give you a little advice darling.....  i know the thing you should be scared of...

It's those damn gowns....  yes i said damn gowns...  I'm a dude....and well I don't do well in those gown thingys.....  I showed my butt to more than 5 or so nurses....and you should know that I don't like flirting like that...  I prefer a bit of alcohol before I show that much skin....hehe...

So fear not all of those test thingys.....just fear the dreaded gown you must wear....  I had to be brave though...  since I knew my buddies Dan and John had to go before me!  So put on a brave face and know that other have had to endure more laughter than pain.....hehe

Hello!
I had my surgery with Dr. Gornichec and didn't have to have ABG's done.  My father died from emphesema and I am a former (23 years ago) smoker.  I did have to have PFT's (pulmonary function tests) but that was the only respiratory related test I recall.
Were the ABG's on just a generic list of possible tests or on your specific orders for the lab?  If they weren't on your specific order then you won't be required to have them.
Hope this helps!

Hi CJ,

It wasn't an actual order.  So this could be good news.  It was a generic list of possible tests.  So, I am thinking I won't have to have one.  I don't mind the others.  Thank you :)
