Had surgery with Dr. Broussard on 11-12, now back in Charlotte, and met Happycat!!
Well, Tomorrow will be one week exactly since I have had my surgery. The nursing staff was top notch. I was a little disappointed in the nickle and diming of the dietician services and was a bit rushed out meeting with Dr. Walton yesterday for my follow-up appointment before I left to go back to Charltte (Dr. Broussard had left for vacation). Other than that, I give my experience an 8 out of 10. Dr. Broussard is fantastic!! I noticed today that I am a bit hungry but I am going to stick with just the clear liquids. Any advice? I have lost 20 pounds since starting my pre-op diet two weeks ago. Happycat, it was great seeing you! S
Wow, you came from far away to have surgery!! What brought you to OK?
Congrats on making it to the losers bench! I'm sure you aren't the only one disappointed in the nickel and diming there... My brother also didn't like it.
Sounds like you are doing a good job so far with your weight loss. Keep up the good work! Stick to the rules and you will be very successful :o)

The hunger is probably head hunger. I thought I was gonna die for the first week on liquids. The second week was much easier for some reason. Hang in there! Stay with the liquids to protect your staple line. You have a new baby tummy that needs some TLC to heal.
