Question for Tuesday Exercise

How's the exercise thing going?  Me-not so good, but I'm making progress in other areas (mostly house organizing).  Still, I need to get going on the movement thing-although housework surely should count for something-I ripped up a room full of carpet today. (OK, it was the bathroom, but still).

I did sign up for a riding lesson after Thanskgiving-but I probably need to exercise some before that.

Exercise....what is that? I don't do too much of it, but I need to start. George and I were walking for a while, but we have gotten out of the routine.

I have to say I am very proud of myself... I walked 2.10 miles this morning and this afternoon I started burning leaves in the yard all by myself.. I am going to Edmond tomorrow and want to be the least weight I can.  So I have worked extra hard these past fews days.

You feel great once you exercise you don't have the guilt hanging over your head.  Now off to start dinner for the kids and do bath time.

I finished gutting the bathroom (pulling out the sliding shower doors) but I'm not going to hang curtains till the new facilities are installed.

Maybe I should feel guilty, but I'm avoiding guilt at all costs right now-so I refuse to feel guilty about it-I'm only hurting myself by not exercising....I might hop on the bike in a bit though....LOL.

I am not sure that exercise will ever be "fun" for me. I have no background in sports. (Nobody ever picks the fat kid to be on their team)  Besides,...all the things I love to do involve sitting relatively still. That said, I do find it much MUCH easier to exercise now. I am amazed that I can do my little routine...and it actually feels good. I walk for 30 minutes 3--4 times a week. I use a recumbant stationary bike 10 minutes in the AM and !0 minutes in the PM every day. Yes, every  #%@&*  day. Dr. Broussard says I am excellent on exercise. I figure I can do this for the rest of my life. Deb, sounds like you are getting exercise doing big projects...hey, maybe you should hire out your services!! ~Lisa~ (ilovemylife)

Maybe I should start a dog/biking service-I'll come over with my bike and run your dog for several miles....LOL.  (I've actually thought of it, but training issues/liability issues are daunting).
