Getting Excited
My bariatric coordinator appointment is in 3 days! :) I know I still have a lot to get done, but hopefully I will know a lot more Friday. She said we would set up testing and the appointment with Dr. G Friday. I know my insurance still have to approve it, but I am feeling like they will. My BMI index is 49.
I am just excited to find out what is going to be next and how long it will be before things really start rolling after this initial consult. Like how soon the rest of the testing will be and also when I go see the doc if he will go ahead and set a date for surgery. It seems like it starting to get closer, but I am just so excited to get this stuff going. Everyone.....cross your fingers and say a prayer everything works out smoothly and I can have this done and have a chance at a more fullfilling life with my son, husband and hopefully another baby eventually.

19 lbs lost before surgery
9/3/09 Full TT, MR, BL, BA, Arm Reduction and Lipo 10-12 lbs skin/fat removed
I am also using Dr. G! I have my first consult with him tomorrow! All I have left to do is my scope and my surgery date is Dec16 pending that my scope is ok!
Keep posting your progress! I think you'll be happy with Dr. G and his office. I have been really happy so far!

How are things going with surg assoc. I have had to put everything on the back burner. To see surg assoc I had to pay 437.00 up front and pay the dieticin 180.00 and I just got laid off from my full time job and still have my prn job but who knows if and when I am able to work. they don't have a place for me full time yet. Than my husbands hours where cut from 60 a week to 25 hours a week so no christimas for us this year. We are barley paying our bills so wls had to be placed to the bottom of my list. I hope everything is going well for you. I called around looking for other doctors and located a Dr Gorospe but don't know much about him. I know that his office fee is only 200.00 and no fee for his dieticin. I have a meeting to go to on Jan 6th and they said my first appt with him would be 1-2 weeks later than 30 days for insurance approval than 2-3 weeks later i could get a date but I haven't heard many things about him. Do you know much about this Dr.?
