My pulmonologist's office just called with the results of my 2 weeks on the auto-pap.  I still need the machine but they have reduced my pressure.  Boo!! Hoo!  I had hoped to get rid of the danged thing!  Maybe when I get to goal weight.
I have maintained for one year at this point.  I am steady at -120 pounds.  =)

I am having the hardest time with mine.  I can't sleep with it on all night.  I wake up and I have either turned it off on purpose or I don't remember turning it off.  It tickels my nose.  I can go to sleep with it easy but I can't leave it on!  :o

Kim, I did this when I first got mine and it was because the pressure was too high. I kept bugging them until they turned it down some. Now I can sleep with it all night long.

I will have to talk to them then.  I didn't know that was an option.  It would be better to have it turned down and be able to wear it then not turned down and not wear it!  I will give them a call!
I don't have any problems when I first turn it on because it has a ramp.  It goes up gradually.  when it gets to the 9 I can't sleep with it on!

Be prepard to argue with them. I had to tell them that I would not wear it at all if it wasn't turned down. It is better to have it a little lower than not wear it at all. My original pressure was 18 and I had it turned down to 14. Good luck.

Emily, I'm sorry for complaining about my 9!
Maybe I should suck it up and keep trying!

Don't be sorry. If it bothers you then call them. It is better to have it a little bit less then not to use it at all. I know. I quit using mine until it got turned down. Call.

I'm with you!  They keep reducing the pressure, but won't let me off of it completely.  I find that I keep opening my mouth because the pressure's too great; Beth and Buddy (our Jack Russell) get frustrated with me.
