Going to Edmond on Wednesday..Kid friendly suggestions?

I have a appt with Chris on Wednesday.  Is there anything that needs to be moved between Kim J and Okiechic?  Just let me know.  I will have the kiddos in tow with me on Wednesday because DH had to work, he replaced it with this past Sunday.   Are there any nice parks I can take the kids too on Wednesday so they wont say they were kept out of school to ride in a car all day..LOL..  We will get something to eat after were done Wednesday afternoon, any kid friendly suggestions?  I guess I could do Brick town Wednesday, does the water tours run during the week or day?  That would be fun for them, since they have never done the water tours.  Any other suggestions for Brick town while were there?

I went online to see if the boats would be running.  The site says it is weather dependent.  The phone number is 405-234-8262.

You could also do the Science Museum Oklahoma by the zoo on 50th in Oklahoma City.  They have a new exhibit called Shipwrecked.  And, occasionally through the day they do a show on explosions.

Thanks for the GREAT info HappyKat..  I called and it seems they will start running on Wednesday at 11 AM, should be plenty of time for us..  Anywhere fun to eat at Bricktown?  Lots of things to look at while were eating?

There are lots of restaurants in Bricktown.  Some are probably too fancy for kids but there are also family restaurants.  You will easily find somewhere to eat when you get hungry.

Are you doing the Diet Class on Wednesday afternoon? I'm sort of in the same boat as you. My 3 year old daughter doesn't go to school on Wednesday's, so it is looking like I'm going to have to take her to the hour and a half long class, is that what you are doing with your kiddo's? Also, thought it was funny, I grew up in Claremore and all of my family still lives there, I now live in Bixby. Well, get back with me. Sure hope I'm not the only one bring a kiddo with me.

Hi Amber,

I actually did the diet class 2 weeks ago.. I am just doing a weigh in and meeting with the nutritionist on this wednesday.  I made it myself, just to keep myself accountable.  If I go a whole month without weighing in I know I will slide and not do my best.  I have never taken my twins with me to a appt so this will be the first.  I am sure your kiddo will do fine, it's alway hard when were put into a pickle with our kids in tow..  I have to be there at 12:55 and only have the one appt.  So it seems we will miss one another.  Have a safe drive Wednesday.  Hope to see you another time.
