Hi There! Coming out of hiding...

My first post, but I've been reading & feeling inspired by this board for awhile now.  I'm Teri, live in Edmond and.....I finally have a date!!!  It is Nov. 24th which is sooner than I was expecting, but oh well - I'll sip some turkey broth for Thanksgiving.

I haven't set up much of my profile yet, but I will as soon as my "not so computer tech" brain will allow.  I'm really looking forward to getting to know you all.

Hello and welcome to OH!  I also live in Edmond so we'll have to get together some time.  Congratulations on your surgery date.  Makes it all very real, doesn't it?

We have a walking group in Edmond is you're interested in joining us.  Although we did wimp out yesterday - it was too dang cold!

Anyway, keep us posted on your progress and ask any questions you might have!  This board is a tremendous support system!

Welcome to the best, most supportive forum on OH.com! They've even welcomed this Kansas girl!
My surgery is tomorrow, so we can compare notes once you have your surgery one week later. Dr. Walton is my doctor, and I'm so happy with him and with the facility. Everyone has been so kind and supportive.

Hi Teri!  Welcome to the OK forum!  What surgery are you having??  I'm happy you got a surgery date!  I am having RNY on Dec 16.  I'm pretty excited!  I'm glad you are "out of lurking"  LOL!  Keep us posted on your journey!  I love to hear about all the progress!  I think I NEED to hear it!  As I am a BIG BABY! LOL!
