New to the group

Thanks for the great words.  I am going to try and get to a Support Meeting next week I agree I think that will be a big help.  I am glad to see such an open armed group of people.  This site will be a great support to me.

Welcome to the Oklahoma OH Board as well as the WeightWise Family!

Please do try to get to a support group meeting - we had quite a few people last night and Dr Keller will be running the group next week.  I give him a break every now and then so hopefully we'll meet soon!

Let us know if you have any questions at all!  There ARE quite a few VSG'ers here on this board and they are very prepared to help get you through each phase of your journey!  Ask anything - we don't hide anything from each other!  You'll find that no topic is taboo here!

One thing I can tell you, things are definitely easier when you have others to support you that have been there before!  It is great having a few guys ahead of you that might be able to help direct you in the "guy" side of things too! 

Don't forget to mark on your calendar the WeightWise annual Christmas gathering - Dec 11th.  The information will be posted on the WW website soon (if not already) so make plans to attend!

Welcome to our crazy, happy little corner of OH!  You have made a great choice of surgeries and surgeon!  Hang on- the wild ride is just beginning!

Welcome Jeremy to the club!! Learn as much as you can and do not be afraid to ask questions...this is a great group here full of knowledge and support. I know it has helped me, and I am up to go for surgery this Monday. U will get the 18 pounds off in no time and might sneak in a few more on the docs. Again, welcome!!!
