VSG on Monday

Hi, Everyone.
I just got the call, with information about my surgery this Monday. I will check in at 5:30 a.m. (which means leaving home by 3:30). Surgery is scheduled for 7:00, the first surgery of the day. Dr. Walton will perform the VSG surgery. My husband, Chris, will be with me. The hospital's phone number (Edmond) is (405) 359-2400. I have asked my angel, Paula, to post an update on the Main, Christianity, Kansas, and Oklahoma forums. If you think you might want to call for an update, you'll need my code word. Just PM me, and I'll let you know what that is.
I do ask for your continued prayers. I'm not frightened in the least. I'm ready for the day to come and go. Please pray for a complication-free surgery and recovery. My prayer is that I will be a witness of God's grace and that I will have a godly, sweet attitude.
Thank you for all your support. That time when I was discouraged, you were all so supportive and helpful. Here I am, SIX pounds below goal weight, for a total of 43 lbs. lost since I first went to Dr. Walton in late July! If you happen to be in Edmond on Monday and can visit, I'd love to see any of you. I may look more homely than normal, but I know you'll understand. :)
Blessings,
Mary

Mary, I am so excited for you. I remember getting my call before my surgery telling me when to be there.  I wasn't frighted at all, I had the reassurance of God that I was doing the right thing and that He was going to take care of me.  This is going to be so great for you.  The first two weeks after surgery are the hardest, but after you get through them you will look back and realize that they weren't really that hard.  I will be praying for you, and your husband.  Take care, Dr. Walton is the best, and you are in God's care. Thanks so much, Lisa.
I know this is God's will for me, and He will heal me through it. I am so thankful for Dr. Walton. I'm trying to prepare for the first few weeks. I may be PMing you, so be warned. ;)
I'm off to move in water. I'm going to miss that more than tub bathing, for 2 weeks!
Blessings,
Mary

Mary, I am so excited for you.  My total hospital experience there, from check in, to surgery, to after care, was the absolute best!  I can't imagine a better place to have WLS.  You are going to do great, and God is definately there every step of the way.  He was with me.  My knowledge that this is what God guided me to, left me with such an inner peace that I can't describe.  I know you know the feeling though.  I can't wait to hear of your success and I wish I could come there to see and meet you.  Be sure and take before pics, AND POST THEM!!! God bless you, Michael

Hi, Michael.
Thank you so much. I just love hearing great things about the hospital experience and my doctor. I do have such a strong feeling of peace. Not saying I won't feel like bolting at the last minute, but I don't think I will.
I plan on taking a Before picture, but I'm not promising that I'll post it. I won't mind, when I can post an After picture with it. :)
I do enjoy watching your progress and hearing from you.
Blessings,
Mary
