I just got a message through my email that our Michigan Girl PAM is at the hospital right now as I type this.  Her Husband Steve got a call late last night from the University of Michigan Hospital saying that they had a liver for him and wanted to start the transplant immediately.

This is strange since I just informed her that I added her to my prayer chain just yesterday.... so hey the power of prayer works...

So please put Steve in your prayers.  She'll be looking forard to having your messages waiting on her when she returns to the boards.  I sent her a huge email yesterday about overcoming obstacles that life gives to people and it's nice to see great people making great things happen in their lives.

She asked me to please ask everyone to include the person's family who so generously chose to donate the organs to give some one else the chance at having a better and longer life.  She also wanted each of you to know how important your support has been of her and Steve and finds the Oklahoma board to be her "Home" board.  that says alot about each of you who took the time to get to know her and give her the words to help her along the way.

Chat at you peeps soon....  if I hear an update, I'll let you know...

Prayers are flying-and thanks for the reminder that not all late night calls are bad ones.

That is wonderful news!!  Thanks for sharing with us.  The power of prayer is AWESOME.  He is still in control but sometimes we just try to take care of it ourselves instead of letting Him.

Thanks Tom for sharing that awesome news.  Yes, the power of prayer is amazing.  We pray Pam that the surgery goes well, and this is the end of this trial.  Do you see it?  It's that light at the end of the tunnel getting larger and brighter!  Congratulations Pam and Steve.  Isn't the blessings of God wonderful?  Michael

Thanks so much, T.  I've prayed daily for Pam and Steve, since I first got to know her and found out that Steve needed a liver transplant. I don't know why God waits so long to move, but I think He does it so that everyone knows HE is the Only One who can come through. He's seldom early, but He's never late. I'm praying now, that the transplant is successful, that Steve's body will accept the new, improved liver. I'm standing against infection. I'm praying for comfort for the family who just lost their loved one.
Please keep us updated.
Blessings,
Mary

I am sad and happy at the same time. I got tears, and i am most certainly praying for all families involved. Its sad to have to lose someone to save the ones we love!  Both sides are in God's hands and his WILL, will be done!  I belive in the power of prayer and our answers will be answered!

Pam, you are strong and you have sooo much support, love and prayer here with your family.  I look forward to getting an update soon.

Thanks Tom for your words of wisdom you shared with our Pammie, and for being who you are!

This is so awesome for our friend Pammie and her husband and I wish them the best.  Pammie has been so supportive of us here in Oklahoma and she isnt even from here, hehe.  She is such a sweetheart though and has such a huge heart.  May God watch over them and comfort the family that has donated the liver.  May they find comfort and peace in knowing that their loved one will live on in Pammie's husband.  Prayers and Blessings.
