Starting Liquids Tomorrow....5 days and counting

I start my 4 day liquid diet tomorrow. I am getting nervous again. This is such a roller coaster....one minute I am fine the next I am freaking out. I was supposed to have surgery 10/23 and it got postponed so I have already gone through all of this....but here I go again. I don't post much but I come here everyday and "lurk" (that's such a creepy sounding word) and I don't know that I would have gone through with this had it not been for you guys! I can talk a big talk but when it comes down to it I am a real weinee. I am just so grateful everyday that I found OH and that through it God has given me the courage and strength to make this huge change in my life.

Thanks again guys and I will see you on the loser bench on Monday!

girl, u kow I am right there with you...literally...lol. Like I have told u before, we will be fine. Hey we might just be in rooms next to each other and go on walking sprees while we are there. I am getting nervous as well and as well the clears start too for me tomorrow...ugh. U will do fine, we will do fine.

Congrats to you and it looks like Jazzylady as well.  I know you guys are both nervous.  You surely wouldn't be normal if you weren't.  This is a huge step but I'll assure you that for me it was the best step in the beginning of my awesome WLS journey.  My life has changed forever.  I have gotten my life back and you both will as well.  I'm praying for your surgery to go smoothly, that your surgeon will be rested and have precise hands and that you will have a speedy recovery.  We're getting your places all ready on the looser's bench!!!!

Thanks!! I have already told some workers here at work that if you smell like food or walk by with food tomorrow, u are gonna get growled at. I am putting a BEWARE OF DOG sign up at my desk

That is so funny! I just told my office mate (he's in his 60's)  that I won't be able to put my lotion on tomorrow cuz it will make me hungry. He said he better not catch me over here lickin my arm lol...I told him that lotion might count as a liquid...ROFLMAO!

So there are 3 of you Monday!  Mary, Jazzy and lj!  I'm so happy for you all!  Take extra special care of yourselves over the next few days! HOPEFULLY I will join you next month!

Hang in there-you are going to be amazed at how fast it goes (but only once it's over).  Jitters are normal.

Strength be with you!  I know you will do just fine!  You are on the down hill slide now!

Congratulations on changing your life come Monday. I'm there, too, just in Oklahoma. It's going to be a great day! You'll get through the liquids diet just fine. It will be much easier, after surgery.
