One of the body image things I worked on on my way down was only keeping my current size and clothes one size up. (Face it, it's expensive to lose a lot of weight, so I kept current size for dress up and one size up for poop patrol).
I had gotten into a cycle of always buying clothes too small for me-so I would have to "work to get into them".....and what that does is set yourself up for the feeling that what you are is never enough.
Remember to celebrate each current size as you work your way down. There isn't a magic size where you become "good enough"....you are good enough right now.
My mom volunteers some at a thrift store called Bargains in Tulsa and tells me they've got some nice stuff. Their address is 3408 E 11th St.
I try to buy one size smaller than I am so that I have ample time to find clothing before I need it. I've been finding a lot of my clothes at thrift stores and, with a careful eye, think I dress better than I did before the surgery. Besides, if you blow it and get something with a bad zipper or a giant rip in the keester, you haven't spent much.
