Catchin up..

O.K., I know I am in trouble.  As has been pointed out multiple times, I have been absent.  Well, not really absent - just lurking.  Very rude of me, I know.  But the problem is that the only time I have to check in is on my 30 min lunch break.  Since I am still pre-op, it takes me a little longer to eat, so my hands are not available to type!
Anyway, just wanted to let you all know that I finally have something a little more than a "penciled in" surgery date.  Looks like it is finally going to happen on Dec. 3.  Yippeee!  I never knew one could go through so many obstacles and live to tell about it.  Trust me, I have encountered every little bump possible in the road to WLS.  Sooooo...move over all you little skinny minnies cuz a wide load is 
a-comin  through to join you on the bench!  Love you guys!

Wow Camille!!  I'm glad you have a date finally.  I know Amy had to shame you but we're all glad she did!!!  We're excited for you because we all remember finally getting the "date to remember"!  What an awesome gift to yourself for Christmas.  I know you've watched Amy and how awesome she is doing and you want some of that excitement for yourself!  It will be here so fast and your journey will be awesome!!!  Thanks for letting us know.  We are making a special place for you on our "LOOSER'S BENCH"!!!

Congratulations on your surgery date! I know what you mean about not having a lot of time to reply to posts...I have had very little time lately also. I know you must be excited about this surgery finally happening!!! You will love this!

Woo-hoo!!!  Now we just have to deal with telling Mom! LOL!  Everybody needs to pray for us on that one.  I'm so proud of you that you are finally putting yourself first for a change and doing something good for you!  Don't let anyone ruin it either!

You know, my Mom and Mother in law and a lot of the in-law side of my family still do not know I had WLS.  Didn't see any need to share with them.  If I am asked I will tell them but I sure didn't need their negative comments prior to surgery!!!  It is such a personal thing we are going through and you should be able to choose who you share this with and who you decide not to share it with!!!  Just my personal opinion for whatever that might be worth....
