How did your appointment go? I've been thinking about you all day! I hope it went well :)

Joy it was so nice meeting you.  Well it isn't official but it looks like I will have to have my gallbladder removed.  I am assuming that is what he will recommend since they definitely found gallstones.  I hope to hear from Dr. Gorospe today with a recommendation. I feel fine today but I do not want to have another attack like the other night.  It was extremely painful. I am glad I went and had it checked out right away.  We cannot be too careful with our little pouches. How did your appointment go?

I'm sorry your having gall bladder attacks.  They bite!!  I had mine removed about 25 years ago, back when they cut you open about 18 inches. LOL  At least most of the time now it is lapriscopic.  I never had what they call "gall bladder trouble" but had 3 fierce attacks and I really thought I was having a heart attack.  You'll feel so much better with it gone.  Have a great weekend and hope you feel better!!!

This is the ride of my life.....what an amazing tool I now have!!!

Yikes! At least its a relatively easy surgery and the pain will be gone soon.

My appointment went fine. Everything is great and I'm right where I should be. I was very happy to see that my protein levels are within the normal ranges. I was worried about that!

Keep me posted. I'm joining the Y next week and need a water aerobics buddy!

The lap removal really isn't that bad-and it is MUCH better than another attack.

I would definitely rather have it removed then to keep having the attacks.  Dr. Pond said it is pretty common to get the gallstones when you drop a large amount of weight in a short time.  On a  brighter note he said that I am way ahead in my weight loss. So that made me feel real good.
