WLS then menopause

I know several women who have been through menopause and have gained a lot of weight. I was wanting to know if anyone has had WLS first and then been through menopause and gained quite a bit of weight? 

I thought I was going through menopause before WLS.  I had a major period on surgery day and then another one about a month later....I hadn't had one for about 1 1/2 years.  I am not having them now and I seem to be loosing quite well.  I can just answer for me though.  I know I've not had a hot flash since surgery...YEEE HAWWWW...

I went through menopause (surgical) at age 26.  The fluctuations in hormones can cause cravings, and anxiety eating-but the basic math still holds true-calories in vs. calories out is what causes gain/loss.
