I've been sick-it isn't bad enough to call the flu, but it's lasted over a week.  Just generally achy, coughing and then cough medicine sours my stomach, so no appetite......anyone else experiencing this?

Yep, got it here too!  Only mine has turned into bronchitis which has kicked my asthma into high gear.  I am on antibiotics and steroids.  First time I have had either since surgery- should be interesting!  I hate steriods but really like breathing.

Yes, I am using my nebulizer for breathing treatments those that are asthma experts.  I am doing all the right things, promise1.
I have maintained for one year at this point.  I am steady at -120 pounds.  =)

This is only my second flu/cold season, but I have noticed it is much easier to dehydrate.....Pre WLS I would sack out till around 2 and then guzzle fluid-but now, since I can't guzzle, sipping along the way has become more important.

Also, for bandsters, make sure you aren't just congested before you think you are too tight.  Yeah, that gunk can clog up your stoma.  (Not that hard to figure out, take a decongestant, and if you loosen up that's what it was...)

I have had that same stuff here since Friday. It has gone into my chest so I too am on an antibiotic and cough meds plus an inhaler too. My kids in Cashion have it, as do the ones in Edmond. I am hearing about all kinds of people having this....I guess for sure my flu shot is out this week.

We've all got it down here in Wilburton too.  I've been on antibiotics for a week and hubby got a shot today.  I asked for a shot last week but I wasn't "sick" enough for one. I work for an oxygen company and it's been a really bad year for breathing issues.

I was crummy over the weekend but it was just lots and lots of running nose issues and sneezing.  No achy stuff so I guess I dodged a bullet!

So sorry to hear you're sick.  I hope you feel better very, very quickly!  Go snuggle up with Moon and you'll feel better!  Or maybe just turn on the dishwasher - it works for Ollie!

I am feeling pretty crummy myself. My face feels really swollen and i feel like my head could pop. I don't have a head ache though. Just feeling blah. I hope you are well soon.

So, y'all are the ones that I am catching this from.  Just starting with a runny nose, and because of that a scatchy throat.  Don't really feel any other cold symptoms yet.  Just quit breathing directly on the forum here!  Hope it doesn't get too bad for all of you.  I tried to take a couple of Tylenols tonight and pouchster wasn't just real happy with me for a bit.
