I forgot about those Atkins things.  I'll have to look for them.

Thank you for your sweet words!  It is much appreciated!

Same here, I have been lurking alot and staying pretty much invisible.
I just wanted to put my 2 cents in here. I had this surgery so that I could have a "normal" relationship with food.  I want to be able to have the fun size candy bar, the small pasta helping, an occasional bite of a baked potatoe.
Due to my diabetes I didnt set a goal weight, my goal was to get off ALL my medication, and I have done that.  I was the same size since i could remember and was perfectly happy being that size.  I just wanted to be healthy, and try to teach my daughter that you can have what ever you want in moderation.
You can't kick yourself in the butt for having a piece of Chocolate.  I dont know about the rest of ya, but I dont have a butt to absorb the impact.

Too bad it wasn't just one piece of chocolate!  Ha!

But I completey understand what you are saying.  It is absolutely about having a healthy, "normal" relationship with food.  And it's a process and not an overnight change.

Thanks for your reply!

It's amazing how fast you can get down on yourself.  I surprised myself that I could get negative so quick.  Must be chocolate hormones or something!  Ha!

I know how you  feel.  Those little chocolate things look so harmless!  I haven't had my surgery yet, and I'm not required to lose any weight beforehand, but I do need to maintain.  I was hoping to even lose some poundage before my VSG.  I'm scheduled for the 26th.  Please pray for everything to go  well with my surgery.  And I'll pray that you can fight those chocolate little devils!

Yippee!!

You will do great - Dr. B is the greatest!  But I'll say a little prayer anyway.

Thank you for the prayers.  Do you think God listen to chocolate abstinence prayers?  Ha!

I already know you're a lightweight since you don't have to lose any pre-op weight!

Congratulations on your fabulous decision to take control of your life!
