You pre-op kiddos don't yet have the secxret weapon- the tiny tummy!! It is all easier after you have surgery.  Pre-op weight loss is the hardest part of the whole process.  Hang in there and get it done.  Having this surgery is amazing!
I have maintained for one year at this point.  I am steady at -120 pounds.  =)

You might want to check on something different from the CIB.  Atkins makes one thats 15g protein and 1 g net carb.  EAS also makes one that has a better protein/carb ratio than the CIBs.

Well, I guess I will stick with the one I got at Walmart.  It is 26g protein, 2 carbs and 110cal. before adding the milk. It tastes good and seems to be working on me....It's fairly cheap too.
Thanks for the info on the CIB. I may be testing others after the surgery because so many say their taste buds change afterwards and that the kinds they liked before, they didn't like afterwards. This is all a mystery!! I love mysteries!!

Hey Sherry, which one do you buy at Wal-Mart.  I'd like to get some to add to my coffee or milk.

This is the ride of my life.....what an amazing tool I now have!!!

This is called Body Fortress Super Advanced Whey Protein.  It has a 52 g. Protein on the top but that is if you use 2 scoops. It is in a tall container and is 2lbs.   It is in the diet suppliment area and has a black top with a two toned orange package! I haven't noticed any grainy taste except maybe a very slight amount at the bottom. It seems to mix well too. If you want to, before you buy it, I can bring you sample to try. That way you will know before you try it.

I was so excited a couple days ago when I finished it, because I think the container, with the packageing removed, could become a snowman!!!!!!! It has been awhile since I got this, but I think it was like $15.00 or around there. It makes about 30 drinks.

Yea, the pre-op diet is hard.  I had to lose 41 lbs prior to surgery.  I started in April and finally had it in Sept.  It took 3 days for me to get over being hungry ALL the time, plus the withdrawals from the sugar and carbs.  It does get better.  I couldn't imagine eating the little bit people talked about after the surgery, but now I see people eating, and I'm thinking, OMG, how can they eat all that food?  Your new pouch will definately have its way with you.  If I can get down 3/4 scrambled egg, I'm doing good.  Good luck, and whine away here -- we understand and it does a person good to let it out.  Michael

Okay got it,
this drink they've got me on has 23g protein and it's Whey Protein Isolate (whatever that means) and  it's 0 carbs 0 fat and 90g of Calories. and It's by Syntrax and it's called Nectar. the one I've got's called Crystal Sky and it's blue when you mix it up. The taste is actally decent kinda fruity and the best part is a serving is only 8oz so it's not like the other drinks i've tried in the past. I'm actually not displeased...but the fat girl would much rather have a quarter pounder :(
