Wish Me Luck
Now if I only knew how I was supposed to start back on liquids and foods. Dr. B won't tell me until he sees me and that probably won't be until next week. I was hoping he would start me out over the phone so I wouldn't have to wait any longer but he is insistent on seeing me first. It is frustrating but I know he has my best interests in mind. Hey what's a few more days right? Actually I don't miss the food and water (I know it's hard to believe) but I absolutely hate the 24 hour TPN. Even though it is keeping me alive, dragging the backpack and the annoying whine when the pump moves is making me crazy. Okay, I'll quit griping...

Bless your heart! I can't imagine going that long without eating or dinking. I hang my head in shame for complaining about the post op liquid phase.
I'm praying that your leak is fully healed and that you can begin to eat and drink normally soon ... and that you will be on the road to excellent health. You've had such a rough journey ... you deserve to get to goal before any of the rest of us!
