Tomorrow I go in for another swallow test and Thursday for a CT to see if my leak is closed. It has been two weeks since my last swallow test and it only showed a faint leak so I'm hoping that it is finally closed. Of course, I can't start eating or drinking until the following week when I see Dr. B. It has been a long road but I think I am finally getting to end of this journey and will be on to my next one.

Melissa is doing well... mostly. She and Eric have moved in and it is nice to have them here. I did make her go to the ER yesterday because she was having chest pains for the past 4 days and we thought she might be a little dehydrated. The doc said she had musco-skeletal inflamation and a little dehydrated. I think she lifted too much when she helped move her waterbed tubes but she is so used to doing the heavy lifting and poor Eric had been lifting everything so she helped him out. Otherwise, I believe her weight is down 49 pounds total and she looks great.
