Question about Nioxin

I know many of you have mentioned using Nioxin hair products. Which ones do you use? My hair is falling out with a vengence. It started slow a few weeks ago but this weekend I have really noticed it. I need to use the one for chemically treated hair but keep going back and forth between system 3 and system 4. I found a place to order it online at a reasonable price so thought I would order it and hopefully it would be here when I get back from Kansas City.

Nancy, I don't think that there is much at all we can do about the hair loss.  I tried it all.  Mine has finally stopped falling out and is getting back to the healthy state.  I did invest in some really good product and have a thick cream conditioner that I have used religiously every day for months.  I put it o n in the morning after I wash my hair and leave it in while I put my makeup on and get ready and then rinse it off.  It is usually on my hair 30 minutes.  I weekends I leave it longer.  Not only did my hair fall out but the hair itself was like dried hay.  My hair is naturally curly but you sure wouldn't know it now.  I don't k now if that will return but I think it will after some time.  I think the hair part was the most frustrating for me in this who journey.  I would still do it again though.  My hair is coming back in and looking thicker now with the new short growth.  I guess we can't have it all..... 

I dont know if it will help with hair loss from wls.. but i am a beleiver in it.. i had a client when i was doing hair that used it because her hair was thinning because of meds she was on and it helped her alot.

Frankly, I think the Biotin and Nioxin are all a bunch of witchcraft and of little use.  However, I also didn't want to be standing blubbering in the wig shop wishing I had tried something to keep my hair.  So, I take Biotin and use formula 3 Nioxin shampoo and conditioner (they call them weird names.)

I have had a bit more hair loss in the last week than normal.  Hopefully it won't get any worse.  I didn't start this deal with any extra hair to spare!  I could need Hair Club for Men soon!

My hair finally quit falling out by the handful.  Now it's none some days and a mild amount on others.  I am surprised I have any hair left after the rate that it fell out for about 4 months straight!  I have taken Biotin from the beginning.  I have not used the Nioxin.  I did get my hair cut very short and started deep conditioning weekly and using a leave in night conditioner every night.  My hair...like Fleemore's felt like straw!!!  It is much better now.  Maybe I should get some Nioxin.  My hair seems to grow a lot slower than in past years.  Good luck on the hair!!
