Those of you that use steel cut oatmeal where do you get it?  I looked today at the Wal-Mart supercenter but didn't find it there. Lisa

This is a stupid question but is it by the regular oatmeal or somewhere else?  Lisa

It's in a cylendar tube like regular oats...it's not so good..I always had to mix it half with regular oats and half with steel cut.  It's awesome that way with splenda brown sugar and some raisins and almonds...yummo....but my doc/nut says no to oatmeal as it is a slider food.  I only ate it in the beginning when I couldn't handle meat well yet.

You can also get at some health food stores like Akins or World of Health.  It may be on the cereal aisle or in the bulk buy area where you measure it in bags yourself.  It is wonderful.  It takes a long time to cook; however, you can cook it in the crock pot and put it in individual containers to heat up as necessary.
