Surgery Tomorrow - Please Pray
Good evening wonderful OH family. I know I don't post here very often anymore... I do read though. Just don't have a lot to comment about, so I just read.
I wanted to tell you all that my sister, Karla, will be having RNY surgery tomorrow with Dr. Stanley Hoehn in Shawnee Mission, Kansas. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers tomorrow as she goes into surgery.
I will update you as soon as I hear from her.
Thanks,
Dot

I will pray for your sister and Brother! I hope your sister's surgery goes well and she has a wonderful journey. I hope that your brother gets his taken care of also. I have never heard of an insurance co. making you pay a deductable 2x's. That just doesn't sound right.
Prayers are going out to you and your siblings!
Hugs
Kim

Thanks Kim.
I couldn't talk to my sister because she doesn't have her cell phone with her... But, I did talk to her 23 year old daughter. She said she was doing good. Sore and tired. All they have given her so far is water and ice chips and she feels very thirsty. I think she plans to stay 3 days because she is self-pay and that is what she paid for, so that is what she is going to do!
I'm sure once she starts feeling better it will be a wonderful journey as we all know it can be!
Thanks again,
Dot
