I FIT ON THE RIDES!!!!

We had a blast at Silver Dollar City!  I was able to fit on all the rides I wanted to go on!  I even convinced my sister to ride the pirate ship!  I told her it wouldn't be bad if we sat in the middle..he he...it was BAD!!  When I asked my son what the favorite part of our trip was he said riding rides with you - Priceless!!  Well...ummm...I guess $12,000 would be the price tag! LOL!!  I'm getting ready to load some of the pics on my page if you wanna see!

I'm so glad you were able to ride with your son!!  That made it worth it all I'm sure.  I'm sure he loves having a Mom who feels better and is more active.  You'll need it to be able to keep up with him while he grows up.  That is an AWESOME WOW moment for you!!!  Way to rock that banana.

Thanks!  It was worth it!  In January of this year I couldn't even stand for 5 minutes at a time much less walk all day.

I know what you mean.  I was going to the mall with my daughter before and I'd find a place to sit while she went in stores...the last 2 or 3 times I've walked the entire thing and gone in all the stores.  I'm walking with the girls and going to Curves.  It's awesome to have energy!!!

omg what a great moment for you!! i can't wait to go back to silver dollar city and six flags and get on all the roller coasters probably more than once!! they are my favorite and i always felt self conscious trying to fit in the seat. sometimes i wouldn't even try!! so congratulations to you!!

Having your son say the best part was riding on the rides with you is definately priceless.  That is a real WOW (and awwwww)moment.  I have missed that with my kids.  But, that is one of my goals is to go to some amusement parks and ride roller coasters. 

You haven't missed it with your kids!  I think next spring you need to start planning a trip with the family to an amusement park and just do it!!  We are never too old to ride with our parents!

Congratulations!  It was so exciting for me to go to Frontier City this summer w/ my 11 year old and fit in all the rides - I know just what you mean.  

AND  - I noticed that you didn't even think to mention hiking up and down all the hills at Silver Dollar City... that was a really big deal for me the last time I was up there, and now you don't even notice it!   I think I'd stick with  - Priceless!
