My first excursion to the WLS Grad board

I looked at that post as well.  We just have to remember what was said at our first seminar.  We have to accept responsibility to do what they said to do.  Dr. Walton said if I wasn't willing to take the necessary vitamins and supplements for me, leave rice, pasta and bread alone from now on, exercise and drink my water he did not want to do surgery on me.  I have someone who is great about reminding me to take mine especially those I take mid-day....my DH!!  My son is a doctor and has told me horror stories about those who get messed up especially when you don't take the b vitamins.  Most of those problems created by not taking them are irreversable.  I know he scared me into knowing I MUST take them all.  I'd rather take a hand full of this stuff and not a lot of prescription medications to try to correct what I messed up.

Thanks for the post and great reminder for us all.  I DO want to try some of your new vitamins Charlotte.  I'll be at the next support group but not the next dinner.  I have to be out of town at that time and won't be able to come to that dinner.

This is the ride of my life.....what an amazing tool I now have!!!

Yes, not all the boards are as kind to each other as we are......I go on the Rants and Raves board, but it's accepted there you can be a jerk-so don't go if you get your feelings hurt easily.  I never could handle the main board-I stick to the lap band board, this board, sometimes the bandster grad board (which is nice, not a lot of fighting, etc).

That was one good outcome of last year's "surgery wars' was the bandster grad board....(although I rarely visit it...LOL).  But, second year issues are not the same as first six month issues, etc, and it is nice to have people who have been there perhaps a little ahead of you.  But, it's still an "issue" that comes up on the band board because some people don't like it ...LOL.  You can't make everyone happy.
