I was really sore for a couple of days. But I got up early this morning and did my3 mile walk as usual. A little tired, but it felt good. Tolerating liquids well. No cravings for anything. I even feel smaller.

When I started drinking protein drinks, I discovered that the Vanilla and Chocolate Unjury are really good, and you can combine all kinds of things with them..powdered peanut butter, sf choco syrup, etc.

Sounds yummy. Might give that a try.

In the vanilla, I add: bananas, strawberries, flax seed (for regularity).

In choco: powdered peanut butter (PB2), SF choco syrup, flax seed and sometimes a banana.

I used the SlimFast approved one from our list a couple of times, but I could only get a 1/4 can. Of course, this was after the 2 weeks of liquids. Don't worry about your protein levels at this stage. I think I remember someone saying that we have protein stored in our bodies for awhile after surgery anyway.
