I've used both, and they do taste better. As a rule, any of the premixed drinks taste better than the powder. I think the boost has a little oil in it, which makes it go down easier-before they started marketing to yuppies, it was mostly designed to be easy for old people to drink.
Okay..get the heck away from that scale its your enemy!
Get more protein and you wont want food...and make sure you are drinking your water.
You have gained weight from the fluids that was pushed through your IV and thats normal...when I came home I used alot of lemons in my water...its a natural diuetric....
I would suggest instead of the carnation to use low carb slim fast it has 20 grams of protein 180 calories in it..the vanilla tasted better than the chocolate....
try s/f popsicles they helped me alot...and broth with beneprotein in it....

Keep this in mind too as you start mushies and then food food , you might not lose and you might gain , before you have a fill , because as the swelling goes down and you start to heal you will have a reg tummy and you will be hungry , just know that it is normal , and choose your foods carefully and make sure you drink your water , it is so important to lapband patients !!!!!!
