THIS IS ME AT MY DESK EVEN THOUGH I HAVE A SPACE HEATER POINTED RIGHT AT THE ICICLES THAT I CALL FEET. IF I COULD ONLY GET MY FEET WARM THEN THE REST OF ME WOULD BE OK. AS FOR MY HANDS, I HAVE ALWAYS HAD POOR CIRCULATION SO THEY STAY COLD. THAT'S WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU HAVE CARPAL TUNNEL!! PUT SOME THERMALS ON AND GET READY FOR WINTER!!! I WOULD RATHER BE COLD THAN AS HEAVY AS I WAS 4 MONTHS AGO!!

I bought an electric blanket!  Imagine this- the hot flash queen needs an electric blanket!

I can't get comfortable at work either.  I go from heated to unheated spaces, to spaces with too many kids in them, back to unheated halls!  (I travel within the buidling to teach.) I can't get the clothing part right!  What is it going to be like when real winter gets here???  I don't have a winter coat either.  I think I have more incentive to actually shop for one now than a few weeks ago!
I have maintained for one year at this point.  I am steady at -120 pounds.  =)

Typically in winter I have just worn a light weight jacket. I did have a heavy coat for the coldest days, but it is practically brand new as I rarely wore it. Wednesday I had to go to a funeral (the daughter of a woman at work was found dead Saturday morning). I was FREEZING! I went that same night and bought myself a new coat. It took me a while to pick one out as it had to be the heaviest one I could find!
By the way, if anyone needs a heavy 3x coat in good condition let me know!

My wife used to call me a furnace because I would radiate heat.  Before I was married, I would open up the windows in my bedroom on a real cold night, and turn back the covers so my sheets were ice cold when I went to bed.  My feet were always sticking out from the covers, and a light jacket is all I wore during the winter, even when it snowed.  BUT NO!!  Not any more!  Since surgery, I am cold!  My wife is making fun of me.  I have put an extra cover on my bed, and my feet stay covered.  I have been chilled most of the time for the past week.  Total opposite from pre-op.  The really bad thing is I might have to go work in North Dakota for a few months, if the company I work for gets the contract.  OMG, BURRRRR!!!  I am cold just thinking about it.

SOME PEOPLE ARE LIKE SLINKIES - NOT REALLY GOOD FOR ANYTHING BUT THEY BRING A SMILE TO YOUR FACE WHEN PUSHED DOWN THE STAIRS.

OH my gosh, yes!  On Friday, I had on a tshirt, sweatshirt, flanned lined barn coat and was covered up with a blanket with the heater on in the Durango and STILL cold. I sit here now in flannel pants, t-shirt and fleece pullover..and am just comfortable. Going to have to buy one of those Lands End Squall parkas to keep me warm, I think. DH is frustrated because he's always hot, and I"m always cold!
