Oh, I get it!

I've wondered what all the back and forth ribbing was all about. Now, I get it! There are TWO Oklahoma teams! I honestly did not know that. Does it excuse me that I was born in Texas, grew up in S.C., and live in Kansas? No? I didn't think so. :(

That's okay I'm from Kansas too and am not really into football (sorry guys) so I didn't know what the big deal was either.  But I have had friends who were adamant fans of either KU or KSU so I guess I get it somewhat!!

Actually there is 3 Oklahoma schools doing very well this year.  Univeristy of Tulsa is currently 7-0 and they should steamroll over their remaining schedule and actually go undefeated this year.  But since their schedule is so weak they wont make a BCS game. 

In fact, all three schools are ranked in the top 25 for the first time since World War II!

I think it excuses you, Mary.  Not everyone is into football of another state.  But with all love, I send you a, "DING, DING, DING".     We love ya no matter what.  Michael

Well, when we lived in Colby, KS where my son was born, we cheered for K-State even though everybody around me was 'Rock, Chock, Jayhawk!"

I was born in califnoria raised partly in Kansas and grew up in North Carolina...for me this OU and OSU is nothing...If it was DUKE and Wake Forest or UNC I just might pay attention...but then naww I wouldnt...I pick on OU fans and  cowboy pete fans..I actually met Cowboy pete he was sure pretty but his expensice belt buckle and boots was kinda like an over kill no real cowboy has those kind of shiny boots on its obvious he has never stepped in cowpudding
