Tan & Tone
Ever feel all soft and squishy? Ok, quit laughing......that's how I feel....literally. When I was fatter, I was much more firm than I am now. And I'm talking about everything including "the girls". Walking isn't enough apparently. Maybe nothing but 30k worth of plastic surgery will help. But in the meantime, I'm wondering if anyone is going or has gone to Tan & Tone and if so what you think about it. Anyone....??

I have been going since 2 weeks after surgery. I still have some sagging, but I do think it helps as I think it could be worse. I am 3 1/2 months out and at last measurements I had lost a total of 29 3/4 inches. My daughter-in-law goes with me and has lost 10 1/4 inches without dieting -- of course she is only 20 years old! We do the 30 minute work out 3 nights a week.

Beautiful Miss Cindy.... Squishy...hmmm...well I can't believe there's not a "workout" based group from the forum that is currently working out....
If you were in the islands, I'd go workout with you....I'm stuck with one of my buddies who looks at working out as a life changing event and verything must revolve around it..... be glad you don't have a workout partner like that... of course, my motivations are different....he's 10 years younger and desparate to find a woman....while I'm not desparate for anything more than sailing season to begin....I'm just trying to hang onto the muscle that I have left!
Anyway, I miss your gorgeous face and I hope life is treating you kindly.... crud, it's half past a monkey's ass..so i gotta scoot!

Hey island boy!!! Sounds like you're doing great and staying out of harms way. Good friend of mine is headed your way for the weekend. Wi**** was me instead. My kid has his first formal though so I'm staying home. BTW, whoever said the girls spend more on clothes for these things, is totally misinformed about the price of a suit. But I digress.....YOU NEED TO POST SOME PICTURES!! Of yourself!! Let us all see what we're missing here in cold, windy, rainy Oklahoma.....Take care!!!!

Cindy;
I started Tan and Tone two weeks after surgery and to this day have lost 70 inches - yes, it's a lot, but I can't say that it is all due to Tan and Tone. I also walk outdoors everyday and get on the treadmill four days per week. I do not notice any type of thightening of the the squishy stuff, though. I am at the point where I am a little bored with it.......but that may be just me. I think it is great to do if you have not exercised for a while, for me it was kind of a way to slowly get back into exercise.
Cindy, I don't know much about Tan and Tone but I know many people have good results. My daughter who is a personal trainer told me that she felt that most people need a self designed program. When I was going to Aspen and which I need to start going again...she had me doing rotating days of upper body workout and lower body workout......If you wanted to you could call her and ask her what you would need to do...She wouldn't mind at all and totally loves to talk to people about body fitness. It would be worth talking to her before signing a contract at Tan and Tone. I can give you her number if you want.. She has about 8 women who run with her in the morning's now and come home to her house and she trains them all...It started with 2. She does it to help them and they are losing and firming up quick! I told her she should charge them cause they live on a teachers salary and she says no...I'm helping them and God will work it out later. She also works at a fitness place on Rockwell and 122. It wouldn't hurt to talk to her. She is strict though but gets results! She is 31 and just had her 3rd child and you couldn't tell she had even had 1 baby. She lives what she preaches!! Her advice is free so just let me know if you want her number....
Ok, I'm gonna give my honest opinion here so just remember it's only one person's experience and opinion. I went to T&T for over a year a long time ago. I think that it can work for some people but you have to work at it. You can't just lay there and expect the machine to do all the work. Lots of ladies did that while they read a book. That doesn't work. But I don't think T&T is anywhere near as good as a "real" gym. I think they are very, very good for larger people or people who are extremely out of shape because the machine helps them some. But I don't think it will ever replace the work out at a gym. And I also think a trainer is invaluable!
Good luck! I have the saggies myself so I completely understand. I don't think I'll ever get rid of them but I'm trying! I'm still glittering though!
