Second Hand Clothing

I haven't lived here for too long and I'm looking for suggestions on consignment, thrift, second hand shops with plus size clothing.  I spent $30 on a pair of jeans about a month ago and they are already too big, don't want to do that again!

I live in Mustang and work around 50th and Penn.

Thanks everyone!

There are several shops in Edmond and near Quail Springs mall.

Two Sisters Consignment

Are the two my wife goes to the most. They have freshest and cleanest inventory.

There are 2 Bargain Thrifts -- one on NW 16th and Meridian and one on SW 44th and Penn. Everything is always 1/2 off what it is tagged. I went there last weekend and bought 3 bags full of clothes and spent $20. I did not pay more than $3 for anything. You have to look through but I have always been able to find good quality there, for me and my girls. I always wash everything from thrift stores first and no one has ever been able to tell I did not buy the things new.

You are from Tuttle  huh? Does Tuttle still play Minco? It was always a huge deal!! I was a Minco Cheerleader long ago and my favorite teacher moved to Tuttle. One of my cousin in law's is from there also....That brought back memories being from there....

There is a Thrift store at 23rd and Council. My mom swears by it, but she weighs maybe 100 lbs!
They have lots of sales. They seem to have lots of pants. It is a hit and miss type deal though. She just bought 4 long sleeve shirts for 45 cents total!  Since you kinda have to go this way anyway, it might be worth a look.

I'll bet Miss OkieChic will remember the famous "Hiney Wine" from Tuttle, OK!!!!  I loved those commercials.  They always made me laugh on the way to work every day.

This is the ride of my life.....what an amazing tool I now have!!!

I've had some luck at Goodwill stores.  You have to watch for stains, missing buttons, and the like, but with a little patience you'll find some good duds.  I dress better now than I did when I bought retail.

I'm also a big fan of Ross if you are in a bind but still don't want to pay full price...
