Changing Suregons

I am going up to see the nurse at Weight Wise but will be done in time to come have lunch or even dinner also. I don't live to far away from Integris so I could meet you anywhwere.  I would love that!

Thank you Mary.  They moved her out of CCU just last night and have her in the other part of the hospital.  She asperated this morning and they are carefully watching her for pneumonia.  She is taking baby steps but is getting better each day.  Thank you for the prayers, Mary.

I love Dr. G and his staff.  It took 10 months for my insurance approval so I worked REALLY closely with Kim and Crystal.

Hi Kim,

My name is Penny and I've also chosen Dr. Gornichec at Integris because he was a Blue Distinction Providor.  I have Fed BCBS, is that what you have?  Have they given you a hard time and denied the Surgery or was it the payments you had trouble with?  I'm a little worried about that, but my PCP says that he is writing a recommendation for me that I have the surgery and I saw the Phychiatrist and he said he was going to recommend it as well.  

Dr. G's seminar is really good.  They do put you through it though.  They want you to be sure.  You have to get the Psyche thing, all the lab stuff, the 5 year history, etc.  I do the lab stuff and stress test on Monday, which is your day too!  Coincidence!

Dr. G's Wife Kim is also awesome.  She spent about an 1 1/2 hours with me and we've set everything up except the actual surgery, which is done when you have everything else together and then she submits to the Insurance for approval I guess.

Hi Penny!  Thanks for your post!  I have BCBS of MN.  I haven't been denied or anything like that.  I think more than anything I got some wrong information on my maximum out-of-pocket and it scared me.  But its all fixed now.  Dr. Gornichec was my original choice of surgeon because of the Blue Distinction Center thing anyway.  But I wanted to go to Dr. Gorospe in Owasso because I live so close to the hospital.  I live just over 2 hrs from OKC.  I wanted my family and friends close just in case there were problems.  But anyway I called Kim yesterday and she had me all set up in a matter of a couple of hours!  I had NO idea she was his wife. I went on to tell her how much Dr.'s should appreciate their staff because she was a big part of why it was so hard to choose Owasso over the long drive anyway!  I went on and on!  We can laugh about that Monday! 
I am supposed to see her last on Monday then at 5:30 I have to go to Dr. Gornichec's seminar.  I have been to Dr. Gorspe's seminar but its a requirement that I go to his! 
Anyway maybe I will see you there!  Post a pic so I will know who you are!
