Hi, Robyn.
I loved reading your 6-month update. Congratulations on your wonderful progress. I looked at your Day of Surgery photo and a current one, and, wow, the transformation is amazing. It's very inspiring. I'm happy for you.

I ALMOST want to take down the day of surgery picture; it just doesn't feel like me.  I won't, but let me tell you, the desire is there!

Robyn - you were adorable before surgery and you still are.  Congratulations on your tremendous success!

If you have time some time, maybe you could tell us what you eat in an average day to keep yourself so on track.

Anyway, thanks for sharing!  You could never bore us!

Ah, shucks.  Thanks, Kim!  On an average day, I eat a Southbeach protein breakfast bar for breakfast except on the weekends and I have scrambled egg or omelette with veggies.  For lunch, I usually have a tiny bit of grilled chicken, pork, steak (whatever's left over) with some kind of veggie (I LOVE purple hull or black eyed peas!).  Sometimes chili - but always protein.  For dinner, I just eat different proteins with veggies.  We grill a LOT!  If I eat out, I like to eat Chinese or barbecue because protein is readily available and it isn't breaded or fried.  Although, I'm not perfect...that happens occasionally too!  Sometimes I do snack - I know we aren't supposed to, but it's not every day and it is a protein snack (Homeade trail mix - lots of different nuts).  To put it best, I make SURE I have a variety - I wouldn't have made it if I didn't have options.  I still only eat 1/2 to 3/4 cup of food at meals.  I don't know if that's good or bad.  I don't mind it anyway.  I don't know if that helps or not, but that's my story and I'm sticking to it!!!
