Hello my Friends

I have not been online for so long and I have missed you guys and gals.

I really have not been up to much just working, working, working.  I am kind of down I am 7 weeks out today and had to weigh a week ago to see my primary care doctor, and when you all said the weight loss would slow down after I started eating again...you were right.

Please tell me that roughly 50lbs is about right for 7 weeks out.  I know I sound GREEDY, but I just want to be sure I am in line with where I should be.  I DO NOT eat anything I'm not suppose to...NO soda, crackers, sweets, etc...  I eat meat, veggies and cheese, beans etc...  I can't eat bread it tastes terrible since surgery.

Anyway, I sure love reading over all the posts and want you to know that I still care about each of you, and keep up when I can.  You are all in my thoughts and prayers.... LOVE YOU GUYS!!!

Sounds like you're on the right track to me.  I found that when I seemed to come to a stop, more exercise seemed to kick start me again.  Keep up the good work.

Wow 50 pounds in 7 weeks is amazing.  We have to remind ourselves what did we ever do before where we lost 50 pounds in 7 weeks.  Yes, it does slow down but it will all add up so fast with 5 pounds here, 5 there and next thing you know you will be at 100 pounds.  Keep it up girlfriend.  Way to go and way to use your new tool.

This is the ride of my life.....what an amazing tool I now have!!!

That  is  good  news  for you.  You  are  right on track   cause I
went  to  6 wk po  doc appointmnt  yesterday and have lost 49 lbs.
So we  are where we  are suppose to be.  But I have not been getting
enough  protein  per lab  work  -- so I have to begin  with  an xtra
shake  now. YUCK!!!   Sounds like you  are not having that  situation.
That is  such  a  big step for  you.  Remember  that  50 lbs  is  HUGE!!!
Not  nothing  to  sneeze  at.  Keep going on and doing what you are
doing;  cause  it  is  working for  you.  CONGRATS

As a pre-op that sounds Amazing!  I think that sounds amazing pre-op or post-op!  You are doing great!  You are eating right and doing what you need to do!
Girl, keep it up and you'll be at goal in no time!  I have read on here, and believe me I live on here, where some people have lost their weight in 6 months.  Some people lose it slower its just up to YOUR body.  I feel like if you do it right and follow Dr.s orders you'll be at goal at a HEALTHY pace!
Keep it up and post more pics soon!  You are doing GREAT!!!!

Yes, you're being greedy!  But that's ok - aren't we all.  To put this in perspective for you, I've lost "only" 47 since my 5/28/08 surgery so you're kicking my butt.

Your new pic looks great!  You can tell you've lost weight immediately!

You are doing fine just remember do not compare yourself to some one elses weight loss. And you will slow down some and then speed back up..
And the heavier you were at surgery the more you will lose.
being healthy has its rewards....take the challenge and just do it

I'm no expert, but just from the various posts I've read, I'd say you're doing great. It's more weight than you could have lost on your own, pre-surgery, probably. I'll probably be a scalewatcher, too, but I know it's better to just work the tool and let time take care of the rest.
Congratulations on your awesome progress so far.
Blessings,
Mary
