QUESTION

We haven't had a question of the day for awhile, so I thought I would make one up.

Do you schedule time just for you or have a standard "I do X at such and such a time" for things like meditation, prayer, etc?

I'm beginning to think that the only way a regular thing is going to happen for me is if I schedule it. (So I guess for me, the answer is no, and I was wondering how it worked for those who did schedule time)

I have a dual alarm.  The first goes off at 6:30, the second at 6:45.  For that 15 minutes I talk to myself, I talk to God, I plan my day, I pet my dogs.  It's just 15 minutes, but it's golden !

I get up at 4:45 and usually spend about 15 minutes drinking coffee, take my first round of vitamins and then off to the shower.  I do my thinking, praying and meditating on my way to work each morning since I have a 40 minute commute each way to work and home.  I know that you don't have to close your eyes to converse with God.  I complain about my commute but I find that time is important to me to be alone with my thoughts and prayer time.

This is the ride of my life.....what an amazing tool I now have!!!

No set time for prayer for me.  I'm rather spontaneous with this kind of thing!

Spontaneous must run in the family!  I don't plan such things.  Of course, I live alone so all my time after work is me time!
I have maintained for one year at this point.  I am steady at -120 pounds.  =)

SORTA....I PLAN ON WORKING OUT EVERY DAY WHEN I GET OFF WORK BUT SOMETIMES MY SON HAS OTHER PLANS THAT INTERFER BUT FOR THE  MOST PART THAT IS MY TIME. WHILE WALKING THE TRACK I TAKE TIME TO REFLECT ON THE EVENTS OF MY DAY AND WHAT I HAVE TO DO AFTER MY WORKOUT. I CALL THIS MY "ME TIME". I ALSO TAKE TIME BEFORE GOING TO SLEEP TO READ PART OF MY BIBLE. I HAVE A GOAL TO WHICH IS TO READ THE WHOLE BIBLE BEFORE YEARS END BUT I DON'T KNOW IF I'LL MAKE IT CAUSE SOMETIMES I AM JUST TOO TIRED TO READ.

I don't set aside time for. I pray when I think about it which is usually right before I go to bed. I do my best not to fall asleep during prayers, but sometimes it happens.
