Does anyone ever get bubbly chest pains?  I've been getting them for about 3 weeks.  I am pre-op so It wouldn't have anything to do with surgery.  I have a friend who works in the medical field.  She said she had chest pains and went to the dr.  they diagnosed her with H. pylori?  My last PCP visit for my 6 mo supervised weight loss is Nov 3.  I hope I can wait that long to go, but its really hurting.  I would have already gone if I thought it was my heart.  I don't think that at all.  But Its really uncomfortable and it hurts.  I'm also not ruling out anxiety!  We all its no secret I have that BAD!
Any suggestions????

I don't think I've experienced the bubbly chest pains.  I don't think you should wait until Nov 3 to have this checked out.  You sure don't need to take any chances with your health especially when you feel "chest pains"!!!  Go to the doctor!!!

This is the ride of my life.....what an amazing tool I now have!!!

Hi, Kim.
I'm no doctor, but I can tell you from experience that acid reflux can cause terrible discomfort. You may have H-pylori. A blood test will confirm that. It's a bacteria that settles in the stomach wall and often causes ulcers and, if left untreated, can cause stomach cancer. We used to think that stress caused ulcers, but now they realize that it's the H-pylori that does it (more than not). It's treatable, by taking a triple-antibiotic pack for 2 weeks.
I'm sure whatever this is, it is treatable, and you'll feel relief quickly.
Blessings,
Mary

Kim, I used to have the bubbly chest pain all the time and it turned out I had GERD. I now take 2 prevacid a day for it and it is better. You need to get it checked out.

It's probably reflux but chest pains are the one thing you don't mess around with.  Be seen by your doc TODAY!!

I can't get into my Dr. today.  I honestly don't feel that its bad enough for the ER.  I made an apt with him for tomorrow.  If I feel that it's worse I will go to urgent care this evening!
Thanks for your help!  I had also considered GERD.  Another thing I was told was Gallbladder.  SO, I entered into this WLS adventure feeling selfish and foolish for wanting it because I was basicly healthy, except for high blood pressure and being pre-diabetic... now sleep apnea, achy joints and knees, and whatever this chest pain is.  YEAH I'm not being selfish or foolish!  I'm being PROACTIVE!
I went for my sleep study with the machine Friday night!  HATED IT!  But Marylaw has convinced me to give it a try!  At this point I'm up for all the help I can get!  How did I turn around and one day be so unhealthy????
Thanks for your advice and support!
Kim
