I thought I would share this with you all. There is a website (you can request a catalog there also) that is nothing but vitamins and supplements. It is: www.puritanspride.com  .  Usually when you buy one of something you get 2 free and so on. I have ordered there several times in the past and it doesn't take very long to get things in.

Thanks for passing that along. I've been looking at several supplements web sites, but I haven't ventured outside the bariatric community yet. I'm a bit nervous, wanting to make sure that what I take is the best for me, after WLS.
Blessings,
Mary

That is perfectly understandable. I know they have chewable calcium. But, I don't kow if it is the right one. They also have the chewable Vitamins for adults. You could compare them to Weight Wise product.

Yes, that's a good idea. If they give the ingredients/nutritional/supplementation facts on the web site, that would be easy to do. Thanks. :)

Thanks! You, too. I have you marked on my prayer calendar. Are you nervous at all? (Now, if you aren't, don't let that question make you nervous!)
Blessings,
Mary

Not one bit. I researched the surgery 1 month before I had my first Doctors appointment. I already knew what good could come of it and what some side effects could be. But if you follow what they tell you to the letter, side effects, if any should be minimilized or even non existent. I found a book online that gave descriptions and showed all of the current proceedures. It really helped me make my decision. I had worked in the medical feild off and on for almost 20 years. There is not much I haven't sen or anything that could make me nervous. Shoot I helped deliver my oldest daughters first daughter. We were really swamped in OB that night and she decided she wanted to join the party.

I think that's wonderful. You're right. The more I researched, the more I knew which surgery was for me. I told Dr. Walton that I was going to be the best patient he ever had. No rebellion, with this girl! :)

I have known Doc Walton for a long time. He used to practice across the hall, from my other Doc, here in Enid. I trust him completely when it comes to this surgery.

It's always nice to hear from someone who has knowledge of one's surgeon. I've felt so good about Dr. Walton, ever since I attended the informational seminar, which he was presenting. :)
