Am I crazy....

I would imagine it would be feast or famine!  Especially in our current economy!  I think it sounds like exciting work though.  I have been keeping kids for 9 years.  While I am very thankful for a job where I can raise my own child and be home.  I sometimes feel ready for a change.  I'll be doing what I'm doing for a while because I want to be home as long as I can.  I love being here after school when my little one comes home.  Plus DAYCARE is outrageous!  LOL!

When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left, and could say, "I used everything you gave me." Erma Bombeck

Yes, I have done that too!  I just had to make it a business because I was doing it for free!  Now I HAVE to charge its my income!  Its a nice income!

We are all a little crazy, but I don't think it's crazy to do what you want to do.

I felt that way (I don't belong here) probably the last 5 years or so I was in accounting.  I switched to Compilance, and that got old even faster-I thought I would catch bad guys, but the real job was to document that I was looking for bad guys, not really catch them.

And now I'm old and jaded and don't give a flip what the bad guys do, as long as they leave me alone so I can figure out what I want to be when I grow up.

I was trained how to catch bad customer service associates that would steal from the company and customers. I can catch a thief easily when cameras couldnt do it... like you I am like what the hell even when you catch them the company just pats their hands and gives then a termiante slip...which is nothing these days...
I was told go to college get a education. So I did to me it was a waste of my life. I have a nice degree on the wall that has done nothing for m. Because i refused to sleep with some guy or take less pay cause I am a female. Years ago fresh out of college I applied to a law firm.  My first day on the job I was told when the CEO asked you for something no matter what it is you do it...Well a week later he called me in his office to congratulate me on a some research and told me that I could go a long way with his company especially if i would get on my knees...I reached over the desk and throw a cup of hot steaming coffee in his lap and asked SIR did I make you hot enough???? I was terminated on the spot.  I realized then you either suck up or suck if you want to be in the criminalogy field..And since the only thing I was willing to suck was a plastic straw. I knew I would never make it..
