protein drinks

can you give me some idea of where to buy a good protein supplement. i had bought two bags of the whey protein from GNC and i liked it at first but the problem is that its hard to mix and i feel like im drinking clumps. i can get past the tast cuz i know i need it but i have a hard time swallowing clumps of powder! i would like one thats already mixed up, i saw someone bring one to a support meeting but i dont know where she got it. it was in a small silver container. i have looked at crest but haven't seen anything, what about sams?? any ideas appreciated.

ps... had surgery thursday. did well no complications. still recovering

Hello:  I  drink  the  Worldwide  shakes in a can pre-mixed  in  chocolate frosty  or the cookies and cream  ones.  They are  the  only ones I can get  down.  Have  35 grams of protein and 
only 4  grams  of  carbs per can-  count as  11 oz  of  your  liquids.  They are at  GNC  or
other  places where they sale  sports protein supplemnts.  Glenda 

The protein drink container you described sounds like EAS AdvantEdge, and you can find it at WalMart. It comes in a 6-pack (if I remember correctly) and various flavors. Good luck, and don't buy too much of any type, as your tastes may change. At least that is what I understand; I'm not there, yet.

Congrats on your surgery! (Dr. Gornichec did my band on 10/9/08) When you mix you shakes, do you use a shaker or just stir them with a spoon?  I bought a shaker at Wal-mart just for mixing the shakes, it's from Body Fortress, and you find it in the pharmacy next to the weightloss and protein supplements.  It really gets the clumps out if you don't want to waste the powder you have left or don't want the expense of premixed ones.
