Johnny's Pulmonologist appointment

was today. He didn't get scoped. He had more tests, and Dr. Huff said, "We're treating you for acid reflux. It sounds bizarre, but that 's it. The  nodule is so small it can't be effecting you at all. It's not serious." Yay! He did say that we will repeat the ct scan every 4 months to keep checking on it, and he'll do that for 2 years to make sure it doesn't turn into anything. The most serious news we got was the precancerous cells in front of his teeth thanks to the dipping he's done forever.

Thank you all for all the prayers. I think it worked. He's fine and not serious. Hallelujah!!!!

Hi, Charlotte.
I'm so happy to hear your news. I praise the Lord for His mercy and grace to your DH. I would encourage him to discontinue smoking/chewing, as the Lord will see that as gratitude and will be pleased. While God is the Healer, He expects us to partner with Him, to do our part.
Expressing Thanks,
Mary

Whoops, I just asked you about this in the previous post. I found my answer. Glad things are turning out okay. Just make sure he does that CT scan like he is suppossed to do.

Sounds like it was a big scary WAKE UP!!!!!!! (but hey if it wasn't scary it wouldn't be effective, would it?)

I'm so glad things are better than you feared.  Your hubby seems like a good guy, one we'd like to keep around for a long time.

Tell Johnny it's time to ditch the dip!  But I'm so glad he had good results!  What a relief.  I'm so happy for both of you!

Charlotte,

Congratulations on your good news!  I've been out of town on fall break, and am so glad to come back and hear that things are looking in the right direction for you.
